Legacy Versions
To use the latest version of Vellum, you will need a Mac with macOS Ventura or newer. If you are using an older version of macOS, we recommend first checking whether you can update your Mac.
If your Mac cannot be updated, you have the option to download a legacy version of Vellum.
Considerations
Before downloading, please keep in mind that legacy versions of Vellum:
- Cannot open files created with new newer versions
- Will be missing some features found in newer versions
- Will not receive any updates (until macOS is upgraded)

If the limitations above are acceptable, and you’d like to download a legacy version, use the link that matches the version of macOS on your computer:

Installing
These links download the Vellum application directly to your Downloads folder. Once the download completes, please install Vellum by moving it to your Applications folder.
Whenever you’re able to upgrade your computer, Vellum will prompt you to update to the latest compatible version.
