What are Backgrounds and Borders?

Backgrounds and borders are decorative images you can add to your print edition. Vellum lets you add three different kinds:

Example of a Heading Background Heading Background Appears behind the first page (or spread) of a chapter
Example of a Page Background Page Background Appears behind every page of a chapter
Example of a Page Background Page Border Appears in the margins every page of a chapter

This feature was added in Vellum 3.9. Make sure you are up-to-date.
